2019 Spring/Summer League Registration

League Registration with Champlin Park Fastpitch Association

Fastpitch with Champlin Park Fastpitch Association is a competitive traveling organization. Games are broken up between home (at Champlin Park High School) and away (in surrounding communities). Practice is based upon the coach and for many teams it is two nights per week. There are also weekend tournaments that are determined by team/coach. The Association will hold a player/parent meeting before the season starts so teams can get to know each other and their coaches. In this meeting tournament schedules can be determined.

Registration for league play is required to attend tryouts and there are no refunds after tryouts. We will hold tryouts February 24 at Champlin Park High School. We will post additional details at a later date.

We will require volunteer hours for each family to help with our tournament and season games. We will announce hours and details at a later date.

  • 8U: $150
  • New Player to CPFA 10U-18U: $250
  • Returning CPFA 10U-18U: $350

New Board Members

There were two board members who's term was up this year.  Bruce Leonhardt and John Sullivan, both have been with the board for several years and have put in an enormous amount of time and effort to help make this program as great as it is.  We cannot thank them enough for everything they have done.  We really appreciate all the work that they have done and will strive to keep this program growing in the positive manner that they helped build.

With their departure we have three new board members.  We have added one board member to help to increase the service that the association provides to it's players, families, and the community.

We would like to welcome Jenny Kral, Angela Downing, and Travis Iverson to the CPFA Board.  We are excited to hear their ideas, and have them help in growing this outstanding association.

With the new board members there has been a shuffle of some responsibilities.  Below is what our new board members will be doing:

Jenny Kral  - Communications Director

Angela Downing - Concessions Director

Travis Iverson - Director of Operations
