Spring/Summer Fastpitch League Registration
The Champlin Park Fastpitch Association is a competitive traveling organization. Games are broken up between home (at Champlin Park High School/Oxbow Elem.) and away (in surrounding traveling fastpitch communities). Practice days are determined by the coach, but most teams will practice two nights per week, on alternate days of league games. 6U is an exception to this rule, as they will practice one night a week and have one league play game a week (playing against other CPFA 6U teams), once games begin. For 8U and up, there are also weekend tournaments determined by the coach. Please be advised higher tier teams and age levels will have an increased number of tournaments and travel, as an expectation determined by the coaching staff.
Tryouts for 8U and up will be held Saturday, March 4th, 2023 at the Champlin Park High School gym. More details to follow soon.
6U registrations will be evenly divided by birthdate.
Spring/Summer Fastpitch registration is required to attend CPFA tryouts.
There are no refunds of registration fees after tryouts.
Each family is required to complete volunteer hours throughout the season. This helps us keep registration costs down. Families will be required to complete 8 volunteer hours for one player (required volunteer check: $450 at tryouts) and 12 hours for two or more players (required volunteer check: $550). Volunteer checks are required as you sign in at tryouts. If volunteer hours are not completed by July 30th, 2023. Volunteer checks will be cashed on July 31st, 2023. No exceptions.
NEW THIS YEAR: There is no buyout option offered.
ALL families are required to volunteer.

The Champlin Park Fastpitch Association (CPFA) is a non-profit organization whose primary goal is the development of fastpitch softball players. This goal is accomplished through organized practices, league competition, tournament play, and offseason development opportunities. A second, but equally vital goal, is to develop sportsmanship and team player attitudes in the athletes of our association.
