Welcome to Champlin Park Fastpitch Association!

CPFA Executive Board Announcement

The Champlin Park Fastpitch Association would like to announce a change in our executive board. CPFA President, Gaeli Iverson, and Vice President, Heath Postma, have completed their terms and are transitioning out of those roles. With immense gratitude, we say thank you to Gaeli and Heath for the time they have given to this association on the board and as coaches. Their knowledge, passion, and dedication has helped shape CPFA into one of the premiere fastpitch associations in Minnesota.

With that, our board of directors have voted in two applicants to fill these roles. It is our pleasure to announce that Nate Stulc will serve as CPFA President, and Joe Biegler will serve as CPFA Vice President.

Nate brings an abundance of experience serving in leadership roles for youth sports associations, as well as decades of youth coaching experience. Joe has served multiple years on the board as tournament director, and has head coached several CPFA teams. Their leadership and commitment will assure that CPFA remains one of the strongest fastpitch associations around. Congratulations, Nate and Joe!

We are also thrilled that Liz Choiniere has been appointed to serve a second term as CPFA Treasurer. Liz is an incredibly valued member of the association, and we’re very grateful to have her continue her service!

Upcoming Board Meetings:

Important Read: MN Softball Age Requirement Change

Champlin Park Fastpitch Association (CPFA) plays in the MN Softball Big West League. This past year MN Softball made the decision to shift the age requirements to follow a more standard school year - birth year criteria.

Please understand this was a MN Softball league decision, not a CPFA Fastpitch decision. We are aligning our registration with the new age requirements and our bylaws will remain in place per standard procedure for "aging up" to the next level of play for this spring/summer tryout.

Please reach out to CPFA Board President Nate Stulc with any questions. The chart below can help you determine what age level you should sign your athlete up for. Spring/summer fastpitch sign-ups coming soon.

Organization Mission

The Champlin Park Fastpitch Association (CPFA) is a non-profit organization whose primary goal is the development of fastpitch softball players. This goal is accomplished through organized practices, league competition, tournament play, and offseason development opportunities. A second, but equally vital goal, is to develop sportsmanship and team player attitudes in the athletes of our association.
